Weigh2x On-Board Weighing System FAQ
Q1: How does it work? What makes Weigh2x different? A: Weigh2x is built on the first principles of physics, directly measuring the microscopic strain (deflection) on the truck's axle itself. This is a significant technical challenge, as the deflection is a hundred times smaller than that of springs or other suspension components. Our proprietary algorithm filters out all noise and vehicle-specific variables, delivering precise, reliable measurements independent of vehicle type or operating conditions. This is the core innovation behind our industry-leading accuracy. Q2: Can Weigh2x be installed on my vehicle? A: Yes. Weigh2x features a standard design that is compatible with all types of trucks and commercial vehicles, and comes with our standard installation service. Q3: How long does installation take? Why does it take that long? A: The standard installation process requires 24 hours of vehicle downtime. This ensures the adhesive for the sensors (strain gauges) fully cures, guaranteeing long-term data stability and reliability. This necessary step ensures product quality and longevity. Q4: How accurate is Weigh2x? A: Weigh2x provides weighing accuracy within ±2% under most operating conditions. We stand by this accuracy to help you effectively prevent overloading and underloading. Q5: How does the system help prevent overloading? A: The system provides real-time weight display in the cabin. Operators can see the precise weight during loading, allowing them to stop once legal limits are reached, effectively avoiding fines and vehicle damage from overloading. Q6: Can the data be exported? Does it connect to my management system? A: Yes. All weight data (weight, time, date) can be exported via USB. The system also supports automatic data upload to cloud servers and can be integrated into your existing fleet management platform for process automation. Q7: Can the system be upgraded in the future? A: Yes. The Weigh2x hardware platform supports functional expansion. Our future upgrade roadmap includes adding a lateral acceleration sensor. This feature can calculate rollover risk based on real-time weight data and provide timely warnings, offering critical input for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Q8: Does the system require daily maintenance? A: No. Weigh2x is a fully solid-state system. Once installed, it requires no daily maintenance, saving you time and effort.
